Useful Exim Commands from SSH

Here are the very useful exim commands used at SSH environment.

  1. exim -bpc = counts all email in the mail queue
  2. exim -bp = mailq — The mailq is relevant as it gives your the email IDs.
  3. exim -M emailID = force delivery of one message
  4. exim -qf = Force another queue run
  5. exim -qff = Force another queue run and attempt to flush frozen messages
  6. exim -Mvl messageID = View Log for message
  7. exim -Mvb messageID = View Body for message
  8. exim -Mvh messageID = View Header for message
  9. exim -Mrm messageID = ReMove message (no errors sent)
  10. exim -Mg messageID = Give up and fail message, message bounces to sender
